ASKING PERMISSION

1. Asking s.o to do s.t / command / imperative
a) Will you +VI ?
    Example: will you come to my house to night?
                    yes, I will / no, I will not
b) Would you + VI ?
    Example: would you go with me?
                    yes, I would / no, I would not
c). . . . . . . . . + like to + VI?
    Example: would you like to go with me?
                    yes, I would / no, I would not
d). . . . . . . . . + mind + V-Ing ?
   (+)no / yes(-)                                                                                         Example: would you mind going with me?

2. Could you + VI?
a) Example: could you open the door?
                  yes, I could / no, I could not
b) Can you + VI?
     Example: can you open the window?
              yes, I can / no, I can not

    Example: open the door, please?

3. asking permission / offering a help
a) may I + VI
    Example: may I go to the bathroom?
b) Could I + VI
    Example: could I go to your house?
c) Can I + VI
    Example: can i go to with you Rudi?
d) Do you mind if I + VI
    Example: do you mind if I go home late, mom?

4. Asking apology / apologizing
a) I am sorry
    Example: I am sorry for all my mistakes

5. Asking information
a) Wh - question= yes / no question
    Respond: giving information
